Satya N. Atluri is currently Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on many diverse areas of aerospace engineering and computational mechanics. He was elected to membership in the US National Academy of Engineering in 1996.
