Dr. Yi Wang is a full professor at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology in China. Her research focuses on building ventilation and energy efficiency of industrial buildings. She is currently leading one of the State Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) entitled “Study on the Design Theories and Methods of Efficient Ventilation in Industrial Buildings?. Dr. Wang is the DeputyDirector of Key Laboratory for Green Buildings in Western China. She is also head of the University’s Ventilation Technology Research Centre, as well as a member of the Green Industrial Building Technology Group of China Green Building Council. Dr. Wang has published over 80 technical papers and co-authored 2 scientific textbooks. Her work has been used in several national standards of industry buildings in China. Ventilation systems in 10 steel plants have been optimized by Dr. Wang’s group in the last 5 years. Last year, Dr. Wang was awarded NSFC’s Distinguished Young Scholar for her contribution of improving working environment and energy efficiency in industrial buildings.
