Dr. Longbiao Li completed his PhD from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2011. His main research area is the study of durability in high-temperature ceramic-matrix composites. In this research field, he has already published >105 SCI papers over the past five years, in: Ceramics International, Journal of the European Ceramic Society, Composites Part B, the International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Theoretical and Applied Fracture Mechanics, International Journal of Fatigue, Materials Science and Engineering A, Engineering Fracture Mechanics, and the International Journal of Fracture. He has been involved in numerous projects related to the structural damage, reliability and airworthiness design for aircraft and aero engine, supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, COMAC Company and AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Company.
